Vedic or Hindu astrology divides zodiac into 27 divisions and each division is known with unique name. All twenty seven nakshatra names have been listed below -
The 27 Nakshatras are represented as 27 equal divisions of a circle, each division is equal to 13 degrees 20 minutes. The sequence of the 27 Nakshatras begins with Ashvini Nakshatra in Mesha Rashi.
Each Nakshatra is divided into 4 equal parts of 3 degrees 20 minutes. They are called Nakshatra Pada I, II, III, and IV.
